If you're shopping at an area Schnucks you may notice something new, starting Tuesday.

It's a robot nicknamed "Tally" and it resembles a 6-foot-tall Roomba toddling up and down the aisles. 

Schnucks spokesperson Bob Hardester says what Tally's doing is taking high-resolution photos of items stocked on the shelves and relaying information in real time to the store's employees. It's checking the barcodes to double check the correct prices are always displayed and it's watching out for products that are out of place.
